Speedo & Rev counter Rebuilt

Jumping the gun a bit here but as they were easy to restore I've rebuilt the Speedo & Rev counter, the cases were sent away with some bike bits I had re-zinced. I also fitted a new glass and chrome rims. I'm very pleased with the outcome!

The dash was recovered with black leatherette material  & clocks & switches all refitted after refurbing & cleaning. Sill need to refit the starter & choke cable but will fit these when dash is back in car.


rear axle stripped down

As you can see i've started to strip everything down so that i can get the parts blasted & powder coated or painted.The rear axle will be rebuilt with new bearings & seals etc.


Pedal box

The pedal box is stripped down ready for blasting, then I am going to convert it to a twin cylinder set up as per the original Sebring's and once done will go to the powder coater's .

Finished pedal box, i decided to use Wilwood M/cylinders instead of Girling.


Stub axles

Front stub axles look fine, looking at the different paint colours they have been rebuilt some time in the past .
they will be powder coated & then be rebuilt with new Kingpins & bushes etc.I am also going to fit some Peter May negative camber top trunnions.


Heater fan

I've stripped the fan down,the bakerlight body cleaned up nicely with hot soapy water, I plan to bead blast the motor fan and grill & then paint them before rebuilding.

Finally got the tub back home in the garage

New Monocoque from Brian Wheeler's ,it needs some of the welds cleaning up & a few rough edges sorting but very pleased with it. The main thing is NO dreaded RUST ! .
